WQRA AGM

The 2011 WQRA AGM will be held on Friday 28 October, 2011, and will provide a great opportunity to catch up on networking with your Australian and international peers. It will be opened by Senator Don Farrell, the Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and Urban Water.
As part of the 2011 WQRA AGM, WQRA has been invited to host the GWRC International Symposium, with presentations from global experts, as well as a Q&A panel session facilitated by Dr Dan Deere, of Water Futures. Attendees will hear from industry leaders from around the world, including:
The AGM will provide an update on progress against the WQRA Strategic Plan, and WQRA's achievements over the past twelve months, including the progress of WQRA’s cutting-edge research, and how research is being translated into practice.
You may also be interested to attend the WQRA Annual Dinner, which will be held at the Sydney Aquarium on Thursday 27 October. The Annual Dinner has a small cost for members, but includes a tour of the Sydney Aquarium, a sit-down dinner and drinks, and a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues.
