Terms and Conditions of Access and Use

The website of Water Quality Research Australia Ltd (WQRA), ACN 127 974 261, resides on servers in the state of South Australia, Australia. Use of the website is offered to you conditionally upon your acceptance of these Terms of Access and Use and the associated Privacy Policy. Your use of and access to the website constitutes your acceptance.

The law applicable to use of the website and to any disputes arising in relation to the website is the law of the state of South Australia, in Australia. If you access the website from outside Australia you are also responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws in the place where you are located.

Registration and Special Access by Login
When you register and log in on the WQRA website you gain access to information and resources that are not otherwise available.

If you are logged in on the WQRA website as someone from a WQRA member organisation, you are able to access privileged members-only content and information. You are granted permission to access this information only on the condition that you do not distribute or communicate it outside of the member organisation through which you are granted access to it.

If you are involved in a project team or committee, and are registered and logged in, you will be able to access a further level of information and resources that is available to that group. Committee or project information, or other privileged information, should also not be circulated or communicated outside the relevant group.

WQRA respects your privacy and will only process information about you in accordance with our online Privacy Policy. By using the website, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Whilst we try to ensure all information on the website is correct, up-to-date and complete, such information is provided for information purposes only and you should not rely on it. Accordingly, we make no warranty as to the accuracy of any information or contributions on the website and do not accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions, or for any damage or loss you may suffer.

Invalid terms and conditions
In the event that any or any part of the terms contained in these Terms of Use are determined by a court to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such term/s shall be severed from the remaining terms.

Variation of Terms of Use
WQRA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or delete portions of these Terms of Use at any time and you should therefore periodically review this page.

Website unavailability
WQRA does not accept responsibility in the event that the website is unavailable to you due to any computer downtime, malfunction or such other event outside the control of WQRA.

Payment
Your payment must accompany any registration for WQRA events, other events or orders to purchase products. All payments through this website are taken in Australian dollars (AUD).

Payment terms
Where a WQRA event registration form or order form does not constitute a tax invoice, a tax invoice will be issued for payments, once processing has been completed. Any dispute regarding an invoice must be notified to WQRA within five (5) business days of receipt of invoice. No product or service shall be delivered to you without payment being received by WQRA.

Payment types
The following credit cards are accepted: Visa; Mastercard; and American Express.

Online transactions: Fill in your details and WQRA will charge the transaction to your account.

Offline transactions: Print off the offline payment form and send the transaction by:

• Mail – send the completed form with payment (with your credit card details OR cheque OR Australian money order) to WQRA.
• Fax – fax the completed form with payment (credit card details – cheque and Australian money orders cannot be processed via fax) to WQRA

Prices
Prices are correct at the time they appear on the website. However, WQRA reserves the right to change prices at any time.

The prices appearing on the website have a GST component and you are encouraged to check this at point of payment. The prices include processing, handling, insurance and delivery charges for delivery within Australia.

Refunds
In the event that you are unable to attend an event you have paid for, an appropriate replacement delegate may be sent in your place. Should you wish to cancel your registration we will refund your registration fee, less an administration fee of 10% + GST per registered delegate, providing we receive the cancellation in writing by fax or email at least 10 working days prior to the event. Cancellations received in writing within 10 days of the event but more than 5 days from the event will result in a 50% refund. If a cancellation is received within 5 working days of the event there will not be a refund.

Availability of events you order
WQRA reserves the right to cancel any of the events, and any payments made by you for cancelled events will be refunded to your account. We will notify you of such cancellation and refund by email as soon as reasonably possible. The refund to your account will take place as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of the date of cancellation of the training or event.

Copyright
The information, text materials, graphics, logos, button icons, images, video and audio clips, trade marks (whether registered or not), advertisements, layout, arrangement, graphical user interface, look and feel, and control features of the site (the “content”) is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You must not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, frame, upload to a third party, transmit or distribute in any way the content except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions or as permitted by the Copyright Act. The WQRA logo and name are the trademarks of WQRA, and may not be used as part of your business or in connection with any goods or services without the prior written consent of WQRA.

The WQRA website may contain links to other websites (“linked sites"). The linked sites are not under the control of WQRA and WQRA is not responsible for the contents of any linked site, including without limitation any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to a linked site. WQRA is not responsible for webcasting or any other form of transmission received from any linked site. WQRA provides these links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by WQRA of the site or any association with its operators.
