SUNSHINE: City West Water, Victoria
WQRA's state-based Node Meetings give us an opportunity to provide local updates on recent events, and provide members with an opportunity to connect with with other local members and WQRA staff. The meeting format is informal and conversational, although minutes are recorded and distributed for the benefit of those who are not able to attend in person.
This meeting was held at City West Water, 247-251 St Albans Road, Sunshine, Victoria, in the Maribyrnong Room, and was followed by a tour of Sunshine Golf Course Sewer Mine.
The agenda included a presentation from Scott Jordan-Legg on the story of City West Water, and a presentation from Judy Blackbeard on a project examining the use of MT-PCR to assess toxic algal blooms (WQRA Project 1043).
